As just about anyone who’s ever worked in an office can attest, one of life’s most festering annoyances are people who don’t return pens that they borrow. Now it appears as though Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus may be one of those people, and the citizens of the nation he rules over are none too pleased about it. [Yahoo]
Stealing office supplies is just as inherent a part of being an American as is obesity and disregard for other people’s cultures. So, through the critical lens of the American Perspective I say more power to you, President Vaclav Klaus. But, when viewed through the eyes of the Czech people, well, let’s just say they have a “sensitivity” to people taking what is not theirs.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.
