So the deal on this is that University of Oregon’s acapella group, “On The Rocks” decided to “Rick Roll” a NYC subway. Judging from the kid who intro’s this video, he’s thinking this is going to be Internet gold, the next Drinkin’ out of Cups. What this poor left-coaster didn’t account for is, that out here on the East Coast, we’re used to a different kind of crazy. I mean the guy operating the camera is just searching for anyone, anywhere to freak out, but he doesn’t even get a head turn, barely acknowledged that 5 or 6 people are singing in perfect harmony. But New Yorkers aren’t even phased, they’re all like “call me back when your a terrorist or slinging poop everywhere” But that’s the price you pay, coming unprepared for something like this. Look, I’m from Upstate New York, and even I know that when you go to NYC you got to bring your A-Game. I mean this is the kind of stuff you’re competing with:
