I’m not going to mince words here, Dan Connolly is not the hero of fat kids everywhere. Tremendous fundamentals! Carrying the ball high and tight, prancing through defenders, and…what’s that? A stiff arm? A cut back? Someone sign this kid up for punt-return. Absolutely unbelievable. The most amazing part might be Al Michaels commentary, “until then Connolly’s career highlight was Holding, number 63…” Dynamite call there, Al. And equally as awesome, those kids at the orphanage eventually did get that loaf of bread that Connolly scampered 71 yards with.
