FWG is growing up. And I don’t just mean that in the sense that I no longer spend my time “meatheading-out” at the local Gold’s (’cause I do….still). What I mean is that as I get a little further removed from my glory days at UConn and become the media mogul/entrepreneur/follicly challenged individual I’ve always dreamed of being; things change. People change.
My perspective on UConn is always evolving, especially with relationship to the football program. The lessons I learned while on the field or in the classroom I now carry over into my business relationships. I’m less sweat-suit, more dark-suit. What I’m saying is that, while you can always rely on FWG to bring you the best in inside perspective and information on the NCAA, Big East, and of course the University of Connecticut, we’re also growing.
My former teammates are all but graduated, having moved on to the NFL or in the process of doing so. I’ve always made this blog a reflection of my life my circumstances, and this latest move is a reflection of that tenant.
We wanted to bring the FWG experience not just to the NFL, which we already have at FWGNFL.com but also so that “in between” and “what-if” period, yes I’m talking about the NFL Draft. So we’ve created a new site, UltimateNFLDraft.com . I’ve hired a top notch editor, who’ s been writing and consulting our network of sites for a while, and we’re shifting him into high gear with this new project.
